It's #ECOFriday, a thought for the weekend...

As we think about leaving work and heading for home life over the weekend our thoughts are always on how we can ultimately be more sustainable and eco/enviro friendly at home.

There are a few projects overseas we have been keeping our eye on over the last few years and a notable one is the The Sustainable City in Al Qudra, Dubai. This is a purpose built net zero village that has so many microenvironmental features that if we were to lend our own ideas on developing our own communities we could progress with change quickly. The ideas are endless, time is the key and time is what we don't have if the UK wants to be net zero soon.

How on earth can a city in the middle of the desert be sustainable? This is a great video from Sustainable UAE.
