Windmill Primary School in Telford is committed to teaching children about the importance of sustainability whilst also making efforts to increase their own energy efficiency.
Renewable Hub carried out audits at the school to identify ways in which costs could be minimised through energy efficiency and Renewable Hub recommended the installation of LED lighting. In addition to being more environmentally friendly, LEDs provide a flicker-free output due to the higher lumen per watt levels. This provides a more beneficial and safer light source for a school environment.
