The Moat House is an award-winning premier hotel and restaurant based in rural Staffordshire.
It hosts weddings and conferences as well as providing a welcoming atmosphere for couples and small groups. As the building is a Grade 2 listed manor house, Renewable Hub worked with the local distribution network to gain permission for the installation of solar panels in such a way that did not detract from the beauty of the building.
Renewable Hub also made changes to the building management system, ensuring that the lighting and heating in the building is more efficient. This led to further savings to the family-run business as well as reducing carbon emissions to reduce the overall environmental impact.
